Darebin Climate Action Now

DCAN comprises a group of local residents of diverse ages and backgrounds who meet regularly, and work together to promote the prospect of a safe climate future. We keep track of the climate science, and seek to raise community awareness of the climate scientists’ dire warnings as well as of the adaptive changes necessary if disaster is to be averted. We also actively interact with all three levels of government encouraging each of them to adopt the policy changes now urgently needed if we are to achieve a safe climate future. We collaborate wherever possible with the many other climate groups, local, national, and international who share our aims.
